Basic swimming ability is required for safety. You should be comfortable in water and able to swim 200m without stopping. If you're not there yet, we recommend swimming lessons first.

No! Freediving is more about relaxation than fitness. People of all ages and body types can learn. Mental calmness is more important than physical strength.

The minimum age is 12 for Trial Dive and Wave 1, 16 for Wave 2, and 18 for Wave 3. Younger divers must have parental consent.

Absolutely! Many of our students start with a fear of depth. We progress gradually and never push you beyond your comfort zone. The Trial Dive is perfect for overcoming initial fears.

When practiced correctly with proper training, buddy system, and safety protocols, freediving is very safe. Most incidents occur when people dive alone or without training. We maintain strict safety standards.

Equalization is a skill that can be learned. We teach multiple techniques (Valsalva, Frenzel, Mouthfill) and spend significant time on this. Almost everyone can learn to equalize with practice.

Blackouts can occur but are manageable with proper safety. Our instructors and safety divers are trained in rescue techniques. This is why we never allow solo diving.

You'll complete a medical questionnaire. If you have heart, lung, or ear conditions, we may require a doctor's clearance. This is for your safety.

Wave 1 is for beginners (12-20m depth). Wave 2 builds intermediate skills (24-30m). Wave 3 is advanced (34-40m). Each level teaches progressively more complex techniques.

Trial Dive is half a day. Wave 1 takes 2-3 days. Wave 2 takes 3-4 days. Wave 3 takes 4-5 days. We don't rush — mastery is more important than speed.

We focus on progress, not pass/fail. If you need more time, we offer additional training sessions. Most students achieve certification within the course duration.
